Whether you are an aspiring young artist, an established musician, or just getting your feet wet in the world of content creation, we want to support you. The best way to achieve your goals is to break them down into small manageable pieces that you can slowly work away at. We created this music rubric so you can give yourself an honest understanding of where you are in your music career.
Simply answer all of the questions in the Music Performance Rubric to assess your current level of performance. No problem if you are not a 100% A Performer (very few people are!), but take this opportunity to see which areas need the most improvement. Maybe you have strong expression but fall a little short with your pitch, so try to spend a few minutes each day doing pitching exercises. Oftentimes we stick with what we know and tend to shy away from things that we view ourselves as not being very good at!
