The TruePlay Innovation Podcast Award invites podcasters to showcase their creativity, strategic thinking, and effective storytelling in a competition designed for the audio medium. This contest is open to all podcast genres and themes, focusing on innovation, engaging content, and impactful delivery. We’re seeking podcasts that captivate audiences, enhance storytelling, and demonstrate a unique approach to podcasting.
Judging Criteria:
Podcasts will be evaluated based on the following criteria, each with equal weight:
- Originality and Creativity: 25%
- Content and Storytelling: 25%
- Technical Execution and Quality: 25%
- Audience Engagement and Impact: 25%
Eligibility:
- Entry Period: From 16th of January 2024 to 17th March 2024.
- Open to all podcasts aired within the entry period.
- Only one entries per podcast are allowed.
Submission Guidelines:
- Submit episodes or series that best represent your work.
- Briefly describe the podcast and the specific episode(s) submitted.
- Highlight what makes your podcast unique and how it fits the category criteria.

Completing the application is a quick and easy process that can be accomplished in just 15-20 minutes.
No. You have the freedom to choose any podcast hosting company. However, we encourage you to experience the magic of the Disctopia Mobile App by listening to your podcasts on it. However, Podcasters who are hosted with Disctopia are eligible to participate in the contest on January 15th.
There will be two rounds: semi-finals and finals, with a grand winner. All semi-finalists will be notified by mid-competition, and finalists shortly after.
The challenge is open to podcasters from all backgrounds, whether you're an experienced podcaster or just starting out. It's available to individuals and teams worldwide.
No, there are no fees associated with entering the competition.

Winners will be announced on our website and contacted directly via the email provided in the submission. We will also announce the winners on our social media channels.
As a semi-finalist, you'll have the opportunity to receive a Disctopia merch bag, free perks, and other prizes that will be announced soon. As the grand prize winner, you'll not only receive $5,000 within 30 days of the announcement but also free podcasting consulting, a Disctopia merch bag, and additional prizes that will be announced at a later date. Yes, the challenge is open internationally. However, non-English podcasts should provide transcripts or summaries in English.
